Imara In Kenya
Imara has a working relationship with ICEA Asset Management, a subsidiary of the Insurance Company of East Africa, the largest composite insurer in East Africa and founded in 1964. ICEA Asset Management (‘ICEA’) was established in 1985 as the first registered fund manager in Kenya. ICEA is the sub-advisor to Imara Asset Management on the Imara East Africa Fund, a sub fund of the Imara Africa Series Ltd umbrella fund. ICEA Asset Management is headed by Paul Sigsworth who left Imara in 2005 to move to the East African region. Paul has had over forty years experience in financial services in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Kenya. He is the lead manager for the Imara East Africa Fund.
